According to Boyce, there was a ruined lararium in a room on the north-east side of the peristyle.
It was a solid podium against the wall, with its three sides painted in imitation marble.
There was a painted aedicula on the wall above it.

Warscher quoted Bull. Inst. 1874, p.273 –4 -
“Il triclinio si
distingue per un realzo di materiale sul lato corto del letto a destra di chi
sta avanti al triclinio, destinato evidentemente per servire d’appoggio al
gomito di chi giacesse in quell posto, mentre manca nel letto sinistra ove
verso quell’estremità erano rivolti i piedi di chi occupava l’ultimo posto.
Ecco le misure del triclinio; lunghezza de’letti destro e sinistro dal lato
esteriore m.4,96, dal lato interiore 3,17, larghezza de’medesimi 1,54-1,55,
distanza de’medesimi 1,80.
La tavola di
materiale è grande 1,78 + 0,93, ed ha questa forma;
Il taglio che si
vede sul lato destro del nostro disegno, è dalla parte lasciata libera dai
letti. Su questa tavola si trovo un mosaico trasportato adesso nel Museo
Nazionale di Napoli e pubblicato nel Giornale
degli Scavi Vol.III, tav.2. Esso ha su fondo verde la seguente
rappresentazione, eseguita con molto accuratezza.
Di sopra si vede
un archipendolo di color bruno, coll’angolo rivolto in su, nelle estremità e
nelle congiuntore guarnito di piastre di bronzo, rappresentate di color giallo
colle ombre più scure, ed inchiodate a chiodi di color nero e bianco.
Dall’angolo
mediante un cordoncino bianco pende il piombino che ha la forma d’una piramide
capovolta, e la cui metà destra è di color azzurro, mentre in quella sinistra
non rimangono che tenui traccie dell’azzurro sovraposto originariamente al
fondo verde del mosaico.
L’analogia della
punta d’asta a mentovasi più avanti ci lascia supporre, che tale metà fosse
d’un azzurro più chiaro.
Sotto l’estremità
destra del’archipendolo sta un pedum di color bruno.
La parte curvata
è rivolta in su e sotto di essa si trova un ramo a cui è sospesa una tasca
bruna.
Più in giù è
attaccata al pedum mediante cordoncino bianco una veste lionata i cui lembi
toccano il suolo.
Sotto l’altra
estremità del’archipendolo sta una lancia con asta forte, la punta appoggiata
sul suolo.
All’estremità
superiore che finisce in una palla, è attaccata una benda bianca, le cui
estremità finiscono in tre punte; più in giù una vesta rossigna è attacata alla
lancia mediante cordoncino giallo.
La lancia stessa
è bruna, la punta azzurra, la metà sinistra più chiara. – Sotto il piombino,
dimodochè questo la tocca, si vede una testa di morto, rivolta un poco a
destra.
Ed esguita in
bianco, nero e grigio.
Di sotto quindi
vi è una farfalla le cui alle son rosse coll’orlo superiore giallo e con macchie
eseguite in bianco, turchino e giallo.
Il corpo è
piccolo e di color chiaro.
Finalmente una
ruota bruna e bianca sta sul suolo sotto la farfalla”.
