I.6.11 Pompeii. December 2004. Entrance.
According to Della Corte, there was a mutilated graffito found on the east (left) side of the entrance doorway.
This seemed to confirm to him that this was the House of the Calavi, it read:
Cuspium Pansam (Calavius) rog(at) [CIL IV 7170]
See Della Corte, M., 1965. Case ed Abitanti di Pompei. Napoli: Fausto Fiorentino. (p.285)

According to PPM, the east wall of the entrance corridor (fauces) was of III style and consisted of a geometric zoccolo (discoloured and faded). The middle area of the wall had a central aedicula with a yellow background between red side panels. The small landscape paintings (vignettes) at the centre of the panels have now disappeared.
