VI.16.16 Pompeii. May 2005. Looking west to entrance, with remains of masonry bench on the left. According to NdS, this entrance led into room N of VI.16.15. Room N was a rustic room with white plaster and a high dado (mattone pesto), with a small window in its west wall. It contained the steps to the upper floor. According to NdS, this entrance led into room N of VI.16.15.
