Looking west towards entrance doorway on Via Stabiana (also known as Via del Vesuvio) into room H, on plan of VI.16.26/27/19.
On the left can be seen a doorway to room I, ala, and centre left can be seen the doorway to room H.
According to NdS, on the left end of the west wall there was a small doorway that led from room H into room G, triclinium.
Room H was of an irregular shape, and on its northern wall and partly on its western wall, preserved remains of large panels with a red background, offering instead on the southern wall, a simple coating of plaster (intonaco laterizio).
