VI.17.41 Pompeii. May 2006. Mosaic door threshold between atrium and triclinium. The threshold of black and white mosaic shows a 4-petalled rosette bordered by a black edge. On either side of the mosaic threshold, the holes for the door hinges belonging to a door with two shutters, can be seen. In the upper left corner, the “carpet” pattern of the anteroom floor consisting of small black crosses set in a black border, can be seen.
