della piu interna con focolare ed uscita nei vico ad oriente, e l’adito di una scala portante a
stanze superiori. Poco discosto leggesi –

(trans: this side of the insula ended with two other shops, which constituted a thermopolium. The first had the stair-ladder, and a room behind it: the second apart from the masonry bench with corresponding steps/shelves, to keep glasses and dishes on top, had a second stairs, one of the rooms most internal with hearth and exit onto the eastern vicolo, and the entrance doorway to a staircase leading to the upper rooms.
