FPNI Pompeii. June 2010. North side of tomb on left of photograph. Photo courtesy of Rick Bauer. On the north side was also a small complex of annexed burials organised in and around a small niche tomb. This included a number of columella, cover tablets and libation holes. Under the arch was found a skull and other bones, probably from a victim of the AD79 eruption. See D’Ambrosio A. and De Caro S., 1988. Römische Gräberstraßen. München: C.H.Beck. p. 214, Taf. 35d.
